Practical reason serves to direct the action of man. It can be divided into two categories:
– Pure practical Reason: operates independently from experience, behaves perfectly legitimate according to general rules;
– Empirical Practical Reason: opera based on experience, it can not be legitimate from the moral point of view.
Morality is precisely identified with the pure practical reason. The survey will consist in determining in which cases the reason is practical and pure (moral) and in what is just practice without being pure (not moral).
