Climbing The Ladder (English Edition)

Business & Karriere

Many books will tell you to quit your job. I have read a lot of them. I even love a few of them.

Have I quit my job yet? No.

This book is the reason why.

What if you are not interested in becoming an entrepreneur?
What if you are not sure what you want to do in your life yet?
What if you are HAPPY with your career right now?

These are all perfectly reasonable questions to ask yourself.

Maybe you have had a friend question your passion. Perhaps a loved one has doubted your motivations for "climbing the ladder". Have you watched a peer become wildly successfully and you are wondering where it all went wrong for you?

I do not know your situation…

I do know that right now, the message seems to be – quit or fail. That life is over for you if you do not run from your 9-5 and start selling your cupcakes on Etsy.

I don't know, maybe that is just me and the books I read.

I suggest that you have more options than you think and more time than you realise.

I would like to think that this book offers a different angle on climbing the ladder of success.

Entrepreneurship will not necessarily give you freedom. Staying in a job you hate is a terrible decision.

Maybe this is the middle ground between the two. If you are stuck in your life and career or are about to take a leap of faith, maybe you'll find some inspiration in this book.

I am embarrassed. I didn't want this to be too self-helpy. I have just tried my best to succinctly describe my thoughts, experiences and mental conflict.

This book is VERY short. I don't want you to feel ripped off so you must know that it is only going to take 5 minutes to read.

Perhaps, 5 minutes to yourself is all you need.
